Предложението за създаване на анкетна комисия за установяване имущественото и финансово състояние на вицепремиера и министър на вътрешните работи Цветан Цветанов, бе отхвърлено със 105 гласа „против", 60 гласа „за" и двама „въздържали се".
„Налагате цензура”, обърна се Янев към депутатите от ГЕРБ, които отказаха да се излъчва дебата по БНТ и БНР, както направиха и вчера, когато думата в пленарна зала беше дадена на вицепремиера и вътрешен министър Цветан Цветанов да обясни фактите около имотите и парите си. „Рухна скалъпеното оправдание на вицепремиера Цветанов, няма обяснение за 466 хил. евро”, заяви още от парламентарната трибуна лидерът на РЗС, който също поиска създаване на временна анкетна комисия за изясняване на имотното и финансово състояние на министъра на вътрешните работи.
Народният представител от Коалиция за България Корнелия Нинова заяви: “Създаването на анкетна комисия е още по-належащо след вчерашните обяснения на г-н Цветанов”. Тя се аргументира с това, че в началото на скандала министър Цветанов е казал, че един апартамент е бил платен по банков път, но в нотариалният акт пише, че той е платен в брой. „Той си противоречи сам - 362 хиляди лева доход - в нито една от декларациите не фигурира такъв доход”, заяви Нинова. По думите й - остават съмненията, че проверките, които се правят са субективни. Тя обясни, че шефът на НАП посещавал по време на проверката кабинета на министъра и съгласувал с него действията.
Народният представител Станислав Станилов предложи от името на „Атака” постоянна комисия в Народното събрание за установяване на имуществото на всички президенти, министри, заместник-министри, председатели на партии и техните деца. По думите на Станилов създаването на такава комисия е единственият начин да излезе цялата истина и „да не се крием във вили, строени в комунизма”.
На въпрос за евентуална негова кандидатура за поста на държавен глава Цветанов отговори: „Може би ще бъда най-чистият кандидат за президент”.
След гласуването в парламента депутатът Любен Корнезов каза че Коалиция за България има данни за престъпна дейност на вицепремиера Цветан Цветанов и ще сезира главния прокурор. Ставало дума за 25 договора за Столична община или по-точно на „Топлофикация”-София, сключени само с една фирма по времето, когато Цветанов е бил зам.-кмет в общината. Главният прокурор ще бъде сезиран и за документи с невярно съдържание - декларации, нотариални актове и др., свързани с имотното и финансовото състояние на вицепремиера, уточни още той.
