Georgi Boshnakov, a 49-year-old businessman, his wife Kalina Kornajeva – Boshnakova at the age of 47 and their two daughters Gergana and Bilyana died after the Cessna P210N plane crashed 80 km away from Skopje on his way from Ohrid to Sofia.
Georgi Boshnakov was an engineer and a businessman, a graduate of universities in Bulgaria and Germany. He was engaged in recycling business and owned several companies.
The Civil Aviation Agency of North Macedonia has informed their Bulgarian colleagues that due to bad weather conditions the pilot had nothing to do but turn around. Having the intention to land at Skopje airport but something unusual happened and the Cessna plane crashed 80 km away south from the city. Hristo Hristov, head of the Aircraft Accident Investigation Unit at the Ministry of Transport announced for the daily newspaper “24 chasa” that the Cessna plane was registered in Germany. His Macedonian colleague confirmed that the machine crashed and no one survived.
There is still no official confirmation coming from the authorities of both countries.
