The Anticorruption commission didn’t find any breaches during the examination of the properties of Tsvetan Tsvetanov, Nikolina Angelkova – the tourism minister, Vanya Koleva – the ex-deputy minister of youth and sport, Krasimir Parvanov – the ex-deputy minister of energetics, Tsetska Tsacheva, Vezhdi Rashidov and the head of the SCC Lozan Panov.
The decisions on all the seven legal proceedings are published on the website of the commission.
Tsvetanov, Angelkova, Koleva, Parvanov, Rashidov, Tsacheva and Panov were under examination by the commission on the basis of media information from couple of months ago for apartments bought for less than the market price.
The Anticorruption commission decided that the signal against Lozan Panov should be forwarded to the Inspectorate of the SJC because of his position – current head of the SCC and a head of the Administrative court in Sofia in the period 2007-2012. According to the information in the media he tried to take advantage of his official status. All the others 6 proceedings are abandoned.
The commission has also abandoned the examinations against Valeri Simeonov, Elena Yoncheva, Valeri Zhablyanov and Krum Zarkov on the basis of different information: the case of Simeonov refers to a deal while he was a head of the municipal council in Bourgas; the case of Zhablyanov concerns wrong information in his property declaration. The case of Krum Zarkov has to do with property bargains.
