Bulgarian fans of the Levski football team took part in a fight in the city center of Bratislava with other fans of the football teams “Krakovia” from Poland and “Ajax” from Netherlands.
130 people participated in the fight at least 80 of them are arrested.
The football fans from Bulgaria were attacked by Dutchmen and Poles, announced Yordanka Chobanova, the Bulgarian ambassador in the Slovak Republic.
"45 Bulgarians are detained as witnesses, 30 of them are released. Some of them are injured. We expect that all Bulgarians will be free until the end of the day”, in her point of view.
The Ministry of Exterior posted the following message early this morning:
"Several minutes after 9 p.m. one of the central streets of the Slovak capital Bratislava was a field of a conflict between football fans from Bulgaria, Poland and Netherlands. There are material damages on the bars, as well as injured people. Policemen arrested 80 people”.
