"When I first stepped here, there was only a mountain. Now we open this section 6 months earlier”, announced the PM Boyko Borissov on the opening of the new 9.3 km section of Hemus Motorway between Yablanitsa and Boaza.
"My biggest sin is that I taught the people to drive on such roads for free”, continued Borissov. "You see how safe the new section of the motorway is with these double crash barriers. My pity is that there was never even a project for construction of Hemus motorway. Nevertheless we have done this and our work continues”, said the PM.
Boyko Borissov also gave a comment on the Turkey-Syrian problem. “Turkey is a good neighbour of ours and I have spoken with European diplomats many times when the EU stood against our southern neighbouring country. But there is no such thing as pressure on our joint border. “We have no problems with Turkey up to now so we should keep sparing our words”, continued the PM.
