The Obstetrics and Gynecology hospital in Varna has asked for help. The clinic needed ventilators for newborn babies who cannot breathe by themselves. In return they received a donation in the amount of BGN 60 000 by the MP Delyan Peevski.
"We are extremely grateful”, said the doctors from the biggest hospital for newborn babies and their mothers in Northeastern Bulgaria. They had concerns whether the hospital is going to be able to help a baby with the infection of COVID-19 when they are not well-equipped. Until the donation of the MP Delyan Peevski was announced, the hospital had received BGN 9 000. While a ventilator for such needs costs BGN 35 000.
The MP Delyan Peevski has already donated up to BGN 3,5 million for the fight with coronavirus. He had recently provided the city of Bansko with 2000 rapid tests which allowed 1/3 of its population to give their samples for COVID-19.
