The PM Boyko Borissov criticized severely the president of the Supreme Court of Cassation (SCC) Lozan Panov that he dabbles in politics too much instead of dealing with the court. This was the reason he lost his trust in Panov. The PM stated that in an interview on bTV.
He was asked a question which particular political statement of Panov he bears in mind, Borissov drew the general conclusion: “They are too many!”
The interviewer murmured that despite the apartments scandal, Plamen Georgiev demolished his barbeque on the rooftop, but he will remain the president of the Anticorruption commission. Here is what the PM answered:
"Georgiev and Panov are so alike”.
Borissov was surprised why the president of the Anticorruption commission Plamen Georgiev is the only one targeted by the media, but Lozan Panov is definitely not.
"Why do you always ask me only about Georgiev?", asked Borissov and took notice of the fact the Anticorruption commission worked a lot and seized more than BGN 2,000,000,000.
The PM continued: while Plamen Georgiev is on leave, Lozan Panov is not. Borissov was quite outraged at the media that leaves Panov undisturbed.
