"We’ve heard too much from the populists. Eventually our parties will become businessmen’s property and the PMs will become billionaires as it already happened in the Czech Republic, for instance. This is the reason why on the last meeting of the Council of ministers we issued a decree, then we introduced it in the Parliament and in the morning the Parliamentary group of GERB held a meeting in order to discuss and protect our decision. Let’s see what will the parties figure out for the next elections, how will they pay and threaten sociologists and political sciences. I won`t take this anymore, I am familiar with their games. I won the mayor elections with no money, no political party – I hope you remember that”, continued Borissov. In his words the government will use the money that are put aside for kindergartens and child care centers.
“We consider cutting off the VAT on books. Education was always our national priority. During our last mandate we spent so much money on education, salaries for the teachers – so the VAT on books is not a problem”, commented the PM.
